Cancellation Policy

OVErview:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If you cancel more than 60 days before the retreat, you may transfer your spot to another person, or apply a portion of your payment to a future retreat (subject to availability), or receive a refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the retreat are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • If Salem Surf Co must cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, etc.), all payments will be refunded or credited toward a future retreat.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to accommodate while also protecting the integrity of our retreats. Please review our cancellation policy carefully before booking.

Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit secures your spot and allows us to make necessary arrangements in advance.

Guest Cancellations

  • More than 60 days before the retreat start date:

    • You may transfer your spot to another person (must be approved by Salem Surf Co).

    • You may apply a portion of your payment (excluding the deposit) as credit toward a future retreat, subject to availability.

    • You may request a refund of payments made beyond the deposit.

  • 31–60 days before the retreat start date:

    • Payments (excluding the deposit) may be credited toward a future retreat, subject to availability.

    • No refunds will be issued.

  • 30 days or less before the retreat start date:

    • All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No-Shows

  • Guests who do not attend the retreat without prior written notice will forfeit all payments made.

Salem Surf Co Cancellations

  • Salem Surf Co reserves the right to cancel any retreat that does not meet the minimum enrollment of four (4) participants.

  • In the unlikely event that Salem Surf Co must cancel a retreat due to low enrollment or other circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, unforeseen events), guests will receive:

    • A full refund of all payments made (minus deposit), OR

    • The option to apply payments as credit toward a future retreat.

Travel & Personal Expenses

  • Salem Surf Co is not responsible for airfare, transportation, or other personal expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat. We REQUIRE purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may affect your trip.
